Paid Search Marketing Manager

We need someone who can specialize in the day-to-day management of our paid search marketing initiatives. This includes managing the strategy and planning of paid search campaigns, liaising with and managing our vendors, forecasting and monitoring ROI on each campaign, and making suggestions to the digital marketing department about how to improve revenue and profit trends by campaign.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the paid search marketing manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Define and execute paid search campaign strategy (including paid search marketing calendar)
  • Manage paid search marketing budget across campaigns to meet ROI goals as defined by marketing department and executive management  
  • Monitor campaign performance, and react quickly to deviations from plan
  • Leverage cutting-edge technologies and tools including 3rd party bid management tools
  • Create dashboards and processes to monitor performance and guide optimization decisions
  • Stay current with technologies and trends and ensure that PromGirl is well positioned to leverage best in class technologies

The role is based in NYC (Times Square).
Specific qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Education: a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college   
  • 3-5 years of experience in paid search campaign management
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing traffic, conversion rates and revenue growth  
  • Experience within the special occasion dresses category and teenage/young adult demographics is a plus
  • Proven ability to leverage analytics and work with complex datasets to understand performance, optimize campaigns, drive decision and measure outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills
  • A tendency to make decisions and craft strategy based on data (we have plenty of it)  
  • Personal qualities of high integrity, ability to take initiative, lead with confidence, and hold teams accountable
  • Experience with analytics tools (including Google Analytics and NewEgg)
  • Experience using Google Adwords, Criteo, and assorted social media Ad managers
