Promgirl makes all of this happen from headquarters in Middletown, Delaware and New York City.

The Promgirl Social Team is seeking a Social Media Intern. This is the perfect opportunity for a hands on person to learn the ins, outs and everything in between in the world of fashion and technology. As a member of our nimble team you will have an immediate impact on our business and see your ideas comes to life and your contributions put to immediate use. If you are an independent, creative problem solver and like to laugh, Promgirl is the place for you.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in developing content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for company brands (PromGirl & Simply Dresses)
  • Monitor analytics with social media team to identify areas of improvement & constantly provide ideas for growth
  • Assist in create engaging social media content for various platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest
  • Assist in the general distribution of social media content, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong communication skills that are consistent and clear!
  • Enthusiastic and excited to work with a team!
  • Comfortable with websites and Internet usage, especially social media platforms
  • Savvy with excel and Microsoft word

INTERNSHIP DETAILS:

TERM: September - December (we are flexible on start and end dates)
SCHEDULE: Maximum of 20 hours/week (flexible on which days)
PAY: College credit, travel stipend
