Promgirl makes all of this happen from headquarters in Middletown, Delaware and New York City.

The Promgirl Operations Team is seeking an Operations Intern.  This is the perfect opportunity for an aspiring entrepreneur looking to gain a 360 degree view of how a fashion and technology company operates.  As a member of our nimble team you will have an immediate impact on our business and see your ideas comes to life and your contributions put to immediate use.  If you are an independent, creative problem solver and like to laugh, Promgirl is the place for you.


  • Participate in day-to-day activities of NYC office operations shadowing the Dir. of Corporate Communications and Office Manager to accomplish a wide range of tasks that span many departments across the organization
  • Dream up new ideas and strategies that deliver sparkle to our employees and customers and encourage them to "Keep Calm and Think Prom"
  • Attend weekly dept. meetings, report on progress on current projects
  • Communicate between departments to help the office operate at it’s absolute best
  • Read Women’s Wear Daily and other magazines, newspapers, and blogs on the internet to keep a pulse on what’s happening in the fashion and greater business world, especially in eCommerce
  • Assist project managers, especially organizing meetings and taking notes as needed


  • Works well under pressure and uses good judgment interpreting instructions

  • Someone who takes initiative and is an independent, creative problem solver

  • Must have the ability to multi-task

  • Enthusiastic and excited to work with a team

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

September - December  (we are flexible on start and end dates)
SCHEDULE: Maximum of 20 hours/week (flexible on which days)
PAY: College credit, travel stipend
