Manager, Digital Marketing

The Digital Marketing Manager will specialize in the strategy and day-to-day management of our paid marketing initiatives. This individual is highly motivated with experience driving effective marketing campaigns focused on new customer acquisition and ROI. This role will liaise with and manage our vendors, forecast and monitor performance and make recommendations about how to improve revenue and profit by campaign.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop, implement and manage all aspects of the company’s digital marketing strategy with a focus on paid customer acquisition
  • Lead and manage digital channels including SEM, Affiliate, Display/Remarketing, Social Advertising
  • Work closely with the Marketing department and Executive management on pursuing various digital channels to drive website traffic and achieve a targeted ROI on all ad spend
  • Maintain alignment with promotional calendar to ensure marketing messages and ad spend are consistent with company goals
  • Monitor campaign performance and react quickly to deviations from plan
  • Conduct measurable A/B tests on ad copy/landing pages with the goal of increasing conversion
  • Leverage cutting-edge technologies and tools including 3rd party bid management tools
  • Meet new customer and revenue goals while managing an efficient budget
  • Create dashboards and processes to monitor performance and guide optimization decisions
  • Stay current with digital industry information, technologies, and trends and ensure that Occasion Brands uses best in class technologies

The role is based in NYC (Times Square).

Specific qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Education: a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college   
  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing traffic, conversion rates and revenue growth  
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns
  • Proven ability to leverage analytics and work with complex datasets to understand performance, provide actionable insights and optimize campaigns
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills
  • Analytic and quantitative skills balanced with creativity and passion
  • Personal qualities of high integrity, ability to take initiative, lead with confidence, and hold teams accountable
  • Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally with Creative, Merchandising and external agencies
  • Experience with analytics tools (including Google Analytics and NewEgg)
  • Experience using Google Adwords
  • Extra credit: experience within the special occasion dress category or teenage/young adult demographics
